Kaveri Coffee Works is shining a spotlight on single origin coffees from India on the U.S. coffee scene. Founder and owner, Tanya Rao launched the brand as a way to build her own legacy within her family history as well as forging her own path. The brand is rooted in her heritage, named after Kaveri River that nurtures a larger coffee-growing region, and she wanted to elevate the branding that also unites her culture and vision. The colors, teal and bronze, are vivid references to her inspiration, and we developed patterns and icons that reference her wedding sarees. We also sourced the bag production to maximize upstream resources and optimizing downstream outcomes through a single-stream plastic that has a higher opportunity for recycling.
