Design is a tool that connects an idea with an audience. Good design incorporates mission, strategy, language, and visuals to shape a holistic experience. Defining that desired experience from the beginning helps form a strategy that can be executed consistently throughout all communication pieces ultimately creating a powerful user experience.
Finding the right strategic approach for a project requires collaboration between designer and client. As a team — each member brings knowledge and perspective to the table. By asking a lot of questions, researching and learning about the content, we can together craft an experience that delivers a message to the audience in a way they can understand.

About Me
For over the 15 years I worked in design agencies – most notably Celery Design Collaborative in Berkeley CA – collaborating with companies large and small. I learned the importance of being a team – we are in this process together. From developing new strategies to executing design, working together with clients has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling aspects of my career. I love learning about each client I’ve partnered with and the projects they’re passionate about.
I am also the founder of Swelter Coffee, a mission-driven craft coffee company dedicated to sourcing and promoting female coffee farmers and workers. The mission combines two of my passions: gender equality and climate change.
In 2024, I moved my family and business from California to the Chicago Suburbs to be closer to family and enrich our kid’s childhood. As I grow my own business, I still take on passion-driven clients. Say hello if you’d like to collaborate!
