Danone Communities is a unique organization. They are a affiliate with Danone, the producer of yogurt and dairy products worldwide. In collaboration with Muhammad Yunus and the former director Franck Riboud, Danone Communities was created in 2005 – a way to invest in social entrepreneurs trying to provide clean drinking water and nutrition to communities in need. We help develop a new brand that represented the impact they are having, and communicated that impact to their key investors: Danone employees. They do a targeted funding campaign each year that help publicize the entrepreneur’s work, and inform the investor base.

Project done as a designer & project lead at Celery Design Collaborative

The logo was derivative of the original logo that elevated the “D” and “C”, but flipped on its side to create a group of people, representing community.

The annual fundraiser produced a suite of “postcards” that profiled each of the entrepreneurial projects, along with 1-pagers, and kakemono posters. The core Danone Communities team would travel around France to engage with different Danone facilities and teach them about the Danone Communities fund.

The ambassador toolkit was a workbook for employees to learn about Danone Communities and ways to engage.
