The founders of Brave Birth Doula Care envisioned a new kind of doula collective. To map out their vision, we did a workshop to establish their core values and key audiences. They wanted their brand to feel inclusive to all types of parents — no matter their gender, race, or family style. They also wanted their brand to feel professional and accessible, not “crunchy” or “hippy”, as doulas are often stereotyped. We developed a clean brand with distinct colors and photography focusing on babies. The brand has evolved nicely as they’ve expanded their business and communication materials.
The initial website layout had an emphasis on showing black & white photographs of newborn babies.
A special promo–an Oregon state shaped logo.
